Pools and beaches

A short trail with a beautiful view leads from Hotel Haliaetum to a pebble beach that provides easy access to the sea. On the beach you will also find a bar, a bistro, and a large outdoor waterslide popular with both children and adults. In the winter, you can enjoy some water fun in Hotel Haliaetum’s indoor pool.

Wellness

Wellness Mirta, where you can enjoy complete relaxation at any time, is located in Hotel Mirta. Surrounded by green Mediterranean nature, the wellness centre offers saunas, a massage pool, and treatments with a local touch.

A combination of Istrian and seafood cuisine

Izola offers an excellent combination of Istrian and seafood cuisine. Local gastronomy providers are part of the Kilometre Zero initiative, which stands for providing authentic dishes from local, fresh, healthy ingredients, prepared according to traditional recipes. This is a concept we also diligently follow at the San Simon Resort.

Sporting activities

The resort is located just a step away from both the sea and the centre of Izola, and surrounded by many running, hiking, and cycling trails. The resort also offers a volleyball court and a tennis court, as well as a variety of water sports facilities during the summer months.

The San Simon Resort offers four multipurpose congress halls and meeting rooms, with your event organised and taken care of by dedicated professionals who are a treasure trove of creative solutions.
