The Seashell Cemetery is an unusual and picturesque piece of coastline located between Ankaran and Luka Koper harbour. The location, which is extremely interesting for children, is quite well hidden. Experts have found more than 230 species of molluscs there. Among the most beautiful are the conch shell, scallop, warty venus and snail houses of hexaplex, abalone, cerith, murex, pelican's foot, etc. The location is especially interesting for children, who can go hunting for different types of shells in a peaceful and idyllic piece of nature.
